III. Quality Living Environment

88. The Government's third task is to enhance the quality of our living environment. As a world-class city, Hong Kong must provide its people with a clean and comfortable living environment. Together, we will build a civil society in which everyone can take pride, as well as enjoy a healthy and positive lifestyle in a rich cultural environment. A quality living environment will also attract more business investment, more talents and more tourists coming here to enjoy their vacation. In the past, we have not paid enough attention to this, but in more recent years we have put in place a series of initiatives to improve the environment.
